Is there a better way to get your adrenaline pumping than attending the annual Big Red Bash in Birdsville? Every July thousands of people travel all different ways through Australia to take part in the Birdsville Big Red Bash for the most remote music festival in the world!
Being intrepid adventurers, Dave and his lovely wife Di chose to spend two weeks in the Australian outback with a couple of Kelly Campers, and travelled 4,000km across some of the most rugged, harsh, dusty and yet spectacularly colourful countrysides just to attend this event.
During the festival, Dave donned his best drag outfit and joined in the fun with the Royal Flying Doctors Service Bashville Drags Race. The race was so much fun it had Dave enjoying dressing up a little too much, and he helped raise vital funds for the Royal Flying Doctor’s Service. This trip was an experience they will never forget.
